Since the American election last month, I've noticed a handful of poetry sites pop up dedicated to providing poetry for the daily work of resistance. Rise Up Review is one such site, and my poem "Resolution" is one of three currently featured on its page. "Resolution" wrangles with my Muslim upbringing in the wake of Islamophobic protests near my childhood home in suburban Dallas. More poetry of resistance is on its way, from Rise Up Review and myself; I'd love to see yours in the comments!
